“Sacrifice,” which is set to have its world premiere at ICAPFF, narrates a story of poverty, hope, and despair. In a small village, a family grapples with both financial hardship and the illness of their grandfather. They place their hopes on the money their son, who is serving his compulsory military duty, will send them. However, as the soldier’s father grapples with his moral dilemma about whether to return a substantial sum of money he stumbled upon by chance, he receives news that endangers their lives.
